Michigan Street is literally where it all started. I grew up in Marquette at 424 E. Michigan Street.  I am a "Yooper," and very proud to share that I am from one of the most beautiful places and spaces on earth - the "906." Like many in this world that are proud of their hometown and the natural beauty surrounding it, we also refer to it affectionately as "God's area code."  I work in Detroit and live in the burbs.  So I am from the Upper Peninsula (The “U.P.”) and the Lower Peninsula of the Great Lakes State. Professionally I work towards the betterment of Michigan’s economy and the future of our State. I am privleged and consider it an honor to combine my passion of Michigan with my profession.

As the author Jim Harrison once said, "Michigan is two radically different places - the North and the South which makes for good drama and contrast."  I suppose life is just like that, "good drama and contrast." This site is simply to share some of the things I see, the people I meet and the stories I hear.  Enjoy, and please connect.
